Our Mission and Vision

Detroit Telangana Community (DTC), a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2010, is passionately dedicated to preserving, promoting, and celebrating the rich cultural, spiritual, and literary heritage of Telangana.

Our mission is to unite the Telangana diaspora in Detroit by providing a common platform for cultural festivals, educational initiatives, charitable activities, and literary events. We are committed to nurturing a sense of togetherness and encouraging meaningful interactions between generations to safeguard our traditions and values.

DTC takes pride in organizing iconic events like Bathukamma celebrations, which bring families together to honor the vibrant culture of Telangana. Beyond cultural preservation, we focus on youth leadership development, health and wellness programs, and community service initiatives to create a well-rounded and empowered community.
